Things To See And Do In Glenelg

Glenelg is Adelaide's premier beach-side suburb. The Tram makes a trip from Glenelg to the city in only 25 minutes, and departs from Moseley Square (in Glenelg), and North Terrace (Adelaide City) approximately every 15 minutes. In addition, the tram service has now been extended to the Entertainment Centre. The fleet of historic H class trams has been replaced with newly constructed Flexity trams. However, those looking for the nostalgic charm will be glad to know several of the H Class trams will continue to run services far into the future. Shopping On Jetty Road's Golden Mile is An attraction for any shopoholic. With over 200 outlets, you'll easily spend a day strolling down this fabulous street shopping for fashion, wining & dining or searching the shops for that prized gift.

The Beachouse

Why not check out Glenelg's latest attraction. Named 'The Beachouse', it's packed full of fun. The five story complex located directly on the Glenelg Beachfront will provide hours of fun. With everything from the first single arm ferris wheel in Australia, Mini Golf, Dodgem Cars, bumper boats, arcade games to three fully enclosed heated water slides, there is something to entertain everyone. Perhaps a relaxing ride on a silent wind powered alternative is more your style. The "Temptation" sailing catamaran operates directly from the Holdfast Shores complex. Imagine sitting silently on a sailing boat sipping champagne and watching the sun set over the the ocean as the lights of the Adelaide coastline wakeup for the evening.
